Redfoots are onmivorous forest dwellers. That is they like it warm and humid. They eat just about anything and are not much on grazing. This is a tortoise that it is actually recomended that fruits and some (occasional) animal protein be given in addition to dark leafy greens. They can get up to 24 inches or so but 16 to 18 inches is more like the average. Wild caught animals of this group are notorious for carrying bugs(internal parasites). They do make dynimite pets.
