Reptisun and Iguana lights, as well as others, are fluorescent (tube) lights, and dont put out much heat to be used for basking.
The ActiveUV Heat and Powersun bulbs are incandescent, and look sort of like spotlight bulbs, although you can get them in flood or spot types.
The bulbs themselves cost about twice as much, but they last twice as long (or longer), and the amount of UVB they put out literally puts the fluorescent types "in the shade". They also fit in standard 'clamp lamp' or similar fixtures, not the expensive hoods or fixtures you need for fluorescents, so they actually end up being cheaper, besides the fact you dont need to use/buy a separate basking lamp.
Check out www.uvheat.com for the details, that is the manuf. site for ActiveUV, but Powersun bulbs are similar.
