The oxalate content of kale is quite low, relative to other greens. People frequently confuse its goitrogenic properties with its oxalate content. If you are looking to give evidence that oxalates are harmless then citing extensive use of kale provides little support. Now if you had said that you use spinach or chives extensively......

Perhaps, but I would suspect that many people are taking their cue about oxalates from the work of nutritional researchers such as Andy Highfield and Dr. Susan Donaghue as well.
