: Olivia my four year old sulcata hasnt went relieved herself in over a week. She still eats alot and the temps are at a good level for her. I was thinking that maybe she wasnt getting enough fiber in her diet but it is the same thing that she has been eating all her life. Not to much grazing grass but alot of grocery greens with vitamins. I have been letting her soak thinking that maybe this will help but nothing. Now, she could be eating it but this is something that she has never done before. Should I stop feeding her? Any suggestions?
Does she appear to be trying to eliminate? Is she straining at all? Our male over a year ago pulled that off on us. But he showed signs of trying/straining. We soaked, feed melons, but nothing seemed to work. Took him to the vet, enema was given and they found nothing but a balled up glob of moist grass, stuck. The vet said he'd never seen anything like it before. Couldn't find anything in the mass but grass. Figured Buster just pigged out one day and his body didn't move it along. After that it was 10 days of antibiotics because of the abrasions from straining. Watch yours carefully.
