www.iguanaden.com
then click on iguana diet,
then click on oxalic acids.
Also a population of chuckawallas in Mexico has been found that have an astronomical amount of oxalic acid in the diet. They eat plants so high in them that insects won't touch the plants. These chucks are growing and living normally. I found this info out through my vet, I will try to get a source. Also check out the arizona sonora desert museum website about tortoise adoption. The diet listed for tortoises is extremely high in oxalics. My vet wrote the list and it seems to be working fine as I have seen some of the animals. Not to mention my own personal experiences. I still feed kale like crazy.
