That was the way I was looking at it too.... figured it was just from sucking in so far when i was holding her... but I wanted to make sure... thanks fr the input... I'll try to get some pics in the next week or so.
: I have had tortoises blow a few bubbles, because their saliva begins to come out of the nose, if they are forced deep into their shell. Like she would be if you were poking a finger or something at her. Keep an eye on it though, if it keepr running it might be mycoplasma. By the way what you were describing about her shyness, thats not unusual, that's their personality. I have a c.b. female, that I have owned for 4 years and she still hides from me.
