: I am now planning to purchase a Russian Tortoise, and I need to know what sex would be best for a beginner. Also I need to know how big these get, what is their diet, and how big of an enclosure do I need it in. If you can answer all these questions I would be gratful. Also is it ok to house them in a home built enclosure about 3ftL, 4ftW, and about 2ftH......Thanks a mil....

: Thank You,

: Ramon

The enclosure sounds about right... inside or outside? That would be good for an inside, but if you have the space, about twice that size or more is good for outdoors.

Here's some links for your other questions:

There are more places out there, just do a search online, you'd be amazed. Take all info with a grain of salt, just use common sense :)
