Since there are already an estimated 10,000 sulcata hatching yearly in the US now, I think it would be a nice idea to breed something else that is more easily housed and can tolerate cooler weather.

: Ok, I want a pet thats going to last with me! I want a tortoise. And I want to start up a breeding program, I know that tortoises dont reach maturity till like 15 years or something like that! That should show you that Iam not only in it for the money but for the love! I wanted to get two pairs of something I definately want two Sulcuta's but what other kind of species that is relatively cheap doesnt have many breeding programs established that will be fun to work with? Many thanks Mike
