Baytril is labeled only for single injection use to be followed by oral although multiple injections are frequently given in practice. In a recent veterinary article Dr. Mader states that this should be done with caution because of the well documented occurence of sterile abscess at the injection site with Baytril. Depending on the strength this may occur with just a single injection.
