If the tortoise is well formed and 'attached to the egg shell there should be no problem. In the first couple weeks of development it is very easy to rip the connection between the yolk and the tortoise.
If you cannot see inside the egg it is either bad (and no need to worry about moving it)or so far developed that there should be no trouble moving it.
You can pack it in a box or tupperware filled with the softest filter floss you can find. That's probably the best you can do if you have to.
