Temps in the 70s are fine for stars. Mine are outside year round and they aren't provide heat until the temps get into the 50s or 60s and the high temps aren't over 70. They can handle cool temps but not cold and damp.
Mine currently (adults and yearlings) get temps below 70 every night, not a problem.
