I understand your point, but it is not true. The overall health of the body can not be judged simply by appearance. Having grown up in the health care field and now beginning to participate in it myself, I have seen many a child perfect on the outside, but incomplete on the inside. The organs may be able to keep up for awhile, as the body struggles to survive, but they will often become greatly degenerated. Tortoise lungs, kidneys and liver are much weaker than a humans. Unnaturally large animals including humans have extremely short lifespans. Organs can not be expected to grow and regenerate, if they are under great stress, which they would be in an abnormally large tortoise.
