I have 6 juveniles I am currently keeping indoors for the winter.
Until recently I had a 12x18" watering tray in their pen area taht they could acces whenever they wanted. 2 weeks ago I was concerned about too much watering so I took it out. Today I had all the guys out and was cleaning the pen when I noticed "Green" (cleverly named for the green dot on his back - like his siblings Blue, Red, Yellow, Orange, and Black) had an unusual amount of white stuff in his pee.
I've seen some of this before - but not this much. Much of it soft an gelitinous - but there were a couple of small (2 mm), hard pieces in there too.
So now I'm concerned about bladder stones and watering.
How long should I soak these guys every week? and What are the symptoms of a bladder stone?
Any help would be much appreciated.
