: If you want to go that route I'd recomend Decorative pine bark mulch (about 4 bucks a sq. yd.) and silica sand or play sand if you like. These can be picke up at Home Depot really cheap and they work very well. It really tears me up to see someone pay such high prices for the prepackaged stuff.

Thanks Ed. I will do that. I am thinking of maybe mixing a little topsoil with the sand so he can burrow if needed. I guess the fir bark mulch is no good? Because I have some already. I am just pi$%ed I spent 16.00 on that cleanfresh junk.
