My sulcata's skin is peeling around his neck. I called the store where i bought him, and they told me that, no it's supposed to look like that because of the loose skin that's there so that he can pull his head back in his shell. i explained, no that's not it. it's actually PEELING, and they couldn't help me. also, the skin on his head is looking very dry, almost like it's cracking. soaking him doesn't seem to help, and i was wondering if it might be diet related. he gets greens and veggies mixed in wih tortoise pellets every day. the pellets are supposed to have vitamins in them and are supposed to be a complete diet, but since i mix them with greens and veggies i supplement him with rep cal calcium and herptivite multivitamin about three times a week. does anyone know what's causing this skin problem and how i can fix it? thanks
Ayala
