Read some of your forum. We are moving to the high desert in Hesperia, CA. We will be about 4000 ft. up. Temperatures drop to about 20 degrees and we do get snow. We have an 8x10 vinyl shed with double wall honey combed design. We are not sure on how well it will retain heat. We wanted to put a concrete floor with a drain(plugged for winter) and use pig blankets on the floor. Our turtles are huge. Any suggestions on heating? We also have lots of pine trees. Can they eat, digest pine needles? Or should they be fenced off from the pines? Rest of terrain is junipers, fruit trees and desert foilage. We have 2 1/2 acres. Which is the best area to fence them off?
Thanks
Susan & Dave
