Here's the "Hilton" home to 3 sulcata's.
Built for long term usage.
12' x 10' double glazed, double walled, fully insulated, concrete floor shaped to drain away water, flexiglass type roof, full electric & water.
Sliding (manually opened/closed)door which allows them to come & go as they please.
Takes full advantage of the sun. Auto open windows for the "sunny days", "(ha ha UK weather)
Internally its real warm even after lights out.
Sleeping area is fitted with a pig blanket, only used in the winter months, never used between April & End Oct.
Two basking lamps (ceramic heat) at 150w on for 12hrs day. 3' UV striplight, on for 12hrs day.
Hope this is of help

: : I want to have built a new outside house for Annie and I want to provide as much solar heat as possible. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can use the sun to help heat her house?
