Hello! I have found that my box turtles, redfoot torts, and leopard torts love hard boiled egg pieces! I do not give them to the russian tort, he is a "greens man!" I only feed the hard boiled eggs to them once a week mixed in with a lot of other food, and only small pieces. The rest of the week they eat a mixture of fruits and veggies and commercial mix, nothing is ever the same its all mixed up differently-and no dog food for any of them. I have heard hard boiled eggs are good for box turtles and redfoots, but I do not know about the leopard torts. He will eat anything, so I cannot go by if he likes it or not, he sometimes tries to "eat" a colored thow rug we have (I feed them outside their enclosure when they are indoors in the fall and winter.) because he likes the colors!! I would just like to know if this is good for them or not, and how often (is the once a week too much?) can I feed them the eggs. I have only tried this recently, they all love the eggs, and I love to give them new things to try for their health, but I would like to know if it can harm them. Thanks so much!!!
