I have sandwiched Owens Corning R19 between two pieces of plywood for a floor .I used a 2X4 frame between the plywoods. This eliminates having to heat the floor. A couple of 175 heat bulbs do the rest. The red bulbs don't seem to bother the torts. One bulb is good for early winter, I screw in the second bulb when the night temp. is 45 degrees or lower. The rest of the 8X8 shed is also insulated with R19. The bulbs are 4 feet of the floor.
