Hello,
This year i finaly hatched my first batch of desert tortoise eggs. I had 4 babies, I am now down to two and i will adventually just be keeping 1 of them. I live in Huntington Beach CA and I was wondering if i need to keep the heat on them at night? It droppes to about 60-65 in my house at night. Doesnt it get very cold at night in there natural environment (the desert) In the day time I always keep it at about 95 on the hotter end. Do you think i need to turn on the red bulb at night though?
thanks for any comments,
Nick
PS: I think it is so amazing how different each one of their personalities are.
