: Big time threat. Go out and buy some Spectracide Fire Ant Killer Granules. Sprinkle on top of the mound and around, then gently water it in. In 24 hours they will be long gone and you can blast the residue with a hose very well. It also works on black ants, piss ants and just about all I've tried it on. I like it better then Amdro because it isn't YELLOW and tempting..looks more like dirt and is very effective.

Gio.....black ants. Here all we ever see are the long endless trials of them on the move. How would you handle this Spectracide with that situation? Could it be placed under our sulcata's dogloo houses where the ants tend to gather for the warmth at night without harm to our boys, Tonka & Buster? When you say they'll be long gone. Do they die or leave the area?
