: I have a 15-month old bell's hingeback. The carapace (SCL) is 4.2" long and it weighs 224 grams.

: I'm concerned that it is growing too fast due to overfeeding.

: Could any of you who have CB K. belliana please submit the age and weight of your younger specimens for the sake of comparison?

Hi Brad,
I'm not sure if I can be much help, but I have 4 baby Bell's. They were born in March, 2001. They range in size from 3" to 3 1/2". I do not have a way to weigh them right now, but they are heavy for their size (like they are filled with water). Mine are big eaters, and active. As long as they are healthy, active, and have good shells, I wouldn't worry about them. Not sure this answers your question, but it's the best I can do at the moment :)
Martin

: Thanks
