I agree with EJ and ernie.
I kept my young sulcata on the warm side like
EJ suggests, even at night I did not let his temp
drop below 75 and he did not move away from
that sleeping area at night though he could have
moved to a cooler place. I kept a ceramic heater
on a thermostat.
Now that he's larger I notice he seeks out cooler
sleeping areas and I keep the ceramic heater set
at 67-68 at night. I don't like him to sleep below
65 all night. In the daytime I will let him out
after lunch on cool days, once it's in the 60's
and sunny plus he has a heated shelter.
I bring my sulcata in every night, I'm just not
comfortable leaving him outside overnight at any
time of the year. niki
