: HI....I just bought a baby sulcata today....
: I was wondering...how long does it take to grow,,,,could you tell me about how much per year?
If fed a proper diet maybe about 1 to 1 1/2 inches per year. If fed an improper diet 25 lbs in 2 years. Really it depends upon alot of variables (as it does with a humans growth). I have a 2 year old Sulcata that is about 7 inches long and around 3 to 4 lbs. I have seen them much bigger and much smaller at the same age at shows.
: ALSO.....If i have it in a tank and i am going to be leaving it alone from 5pm everynight until 8am every morning....how do i handle the lighting?
12 good hours of UV rays will work fine, on a timer.
Sounds like you have alot of questions.
Go here;

And read this too;
