I got Teddy 2 years ago on the 15th of Oct. 99
and I was told he was 5 months old. Seems to be
about right at that age at that time. He's currently
also about 8 1/2 inches (I straight measured the tips
of the gullar to the last piece of the V part of
his tail area that was shell) and he's right around
9 pounds right now. Looking at a close up of Nigel
I'd say Teddy's "body" part, not the shell areas,
is bigger, the forearms are heavier.

He does seem heavy to me, like a cinder block for
his size, but I still think of him as puny, though
I see evidence of him growing all the time - he
can't walk under the open cabinet doors now, he's
too tall.

A few people were looking at him Sat. when I was
washing my car, he was out "helping" me by splashing
all around the driveway, and all they talked about
was his LEGS, so cool, look like a dinosaur, amazing,
never seen anything like it, the "thorns" LOL (Spurs).

We still have to be careful when he's in the house,
watching our step, knowing where he's at, opening
doors carefully etc...

Hmm, I want to get some better close up pics of
Teddy, and possibly the underside too.
