Great job on cleaning those tortoises up. If that russian is a hatchling I might be worried about a kidney problem, if not the diet change can do nothing but benefit them.

All of my tortoises lay around with everything hanging out at all times. I think it's a sign of contentment:). What you want to make sure of is that they pull their head in, or limbs in when touched. That way they are still alert to predators.
