I don't usually bring Nigel in. But,I probably will some this winter. (This will be Nigel's first winter in an outdoor enclosure.) I hope to build him a small greenhouse and plan to put a pig blanket in his "sleeping quarters". I may even put a small heater out there too....I'm not sure yet.
You bring your tort in when it's too HOT? I haven't had that problem yet...and I live in SE Georgia. I'm just worried about winter...and I sure hope it's not a rainy winter!

: I'm sure he loves it! I was wondering about digging
: up under the house too (my husband doesn't think
: it's possible or probable I should say). We have
: a French door in the bedroom so I can just walk
: out to his pen from there or the living room,
: we intend to have his "yard" on this part of the
: house. Of course I can see him from everywhere
: in the house practically.
: I can't imagine him being outside at night, he
: always comes in to sleep. (My husband won't let
: me put him in our bed - can you imagine! LOL just
: kidding!) I CAN let him sleep in our bathroom
: in his big carry case when it's too hot out.
