What kind?

I found this cutie in the garden this morning (we live in SW Georgia). I was worried my cat or dog would eat it, so I figured it would be safer for the poor little bugger if I raised it till it got a bit bigger. I have no idea what kind it is or how to take care of it. It seems to be in good health and has brighr eyes and is quite lively for a tortoise! It has a row of three bumps on its' back and has a brown and beige colored under side that is not "hinged" like the other tortoises I have seen around here. It also has a long tail. The only kind of tortoise I could find any info on for our area is the Gopher Tortoise and I don't think this is one. Any advice & info would be appreciated.
