: I posted here in June regarding my sulcata's growth. I was concerned that it wasn't growing fast enough. I bought it as a hatchling last summer. In june I weighed it and it weighed 3 1/4 ounces. I weighed it a few times again, and it gained a little weight. I weighed it again today, and it weighs 7 ounces. Here is a pic of it that I took today. I will post a pic from June later. Is that normal for all of the sudden start growing rapidly? What do you guys think about the growth rate?

: Thanks in advance
: Albert

I'm not the expert responding, but that is amazing if it only took 3 months. I'm sure several others will have opinions on what's going on. Have you measured his plastron? Virgil started out at 2 1/4 inches (approx 3 months) and 9 months later he was exactly 3". It will be interesting to find out what the others say. By the way, he/she is adorable.
