even if you keep 2 in a fishtank (sorry couldn't resist) you should have something to break the line of sight. It falls under the heading 'out of sight, out of mind'. These a very simple minded animals and are easily distracted.
Btw, that is a nice bit of space for that size group. Try to do a regular patrol of the fenceline perimeter. If there is a weak spot they will find it.
