Sulcata poopy problem, ewww, please help!

Hi,
everytime I pick up one of my sulcata's, they either poop or pee, I know that they do this because they are afraid, how can I teach them that I am not going to hurt them?? I don't pick them up as much as I would like to because I don't really enjoy being covered in poop. Any help would be great!
