: Hopfully it will stay in the egg until the yolk is absourbed. This can take up to 5 days. Keep it dark and mist the egg one time to soften the egg shell if it is too dry. If it hatches out early you can try this. A tea cup will do just as well as a container.

The baby pancake tortoise is completly out ! He made out yesterday in the afternoon. I just offered him some water, and drank for about 3 minutes ( no exageration ). He is so coute looking !
