Natural vs. Artifical Light Requirements

I always try to put my babies out for a time during the day. But if I can't, how does uva/uvb light compare to sunlight in time? Is it 1 to 1 or is 1 hour outdoors equal to several hours "under the lights"? Sometimes with my work schedule putting the littlest ones out is hard. They need supervision.
