In Reply to: Bells Hingeback Problems...PLEASE HELP posted by Emily on January 13, 1999 at 19:21:14:
Hey Emily, I can relate a bit, when mine had an injection, he was hobbling around for a few days, but nothing like yours. When is the reptile specialist coming back? Are there any other reptile vets in your area?
I don't know what to tell you other than to seek some further veterinarian advice. I looked for some online and I came up with http://www.rmplc.co.uk/eduweb/sites/bcgonweb/index.html if you go to this page there is a veterinarian page. Maybe they can help you? It doesn't hurt to try. Also you can try doing a websearch for some tortoise info sites and see if they have any veterinarian email addresses. I did that in the past and got immediate good email help from Mike Jessop although I can't find where I got his email address from. I hope everyting works out ok, let us know.
