You need to get him to eat more variety, more grasses, etc, not the soft leafy stuff. You'll end up with dietary deficiencies quickly. Try fruit for a treat, sparingly. Or try not feeding for a few days or a week, then give him proper food. Do you have a lawn or some area with weeds/grass that you can let him graze in? Make sure no pesticides have been used.
