I have a Male bells Hingeback, he is between 3-5 years old.
He had some sort of Vitamin deficiency so I took him to the Vet. I live in an area where you can not buy, or sell Turtles/Tortoises (mine was purchased in the midwest 2 years ago) so the Animal Hospital was unsure of how exactly to diagnose and treat him, and the reptile sepcialist went away on Vacation.
The gave him a Vitamin A and D3 injection yesterday in his right front leg. His armpit has now swelled up, as has his whole leg. he is limping on it and it seems to hurt him. He also was not interested in food tonight.
Is there anything I can do or anyone who can help me? The animal hospital says they don't know what it is, and I should put hot compresses on it. Feel free to E-Mail me. I am in dire need help here, it is breaking my heart to see him like this.
