: Hello everyone,

: Does anyone have any ideas on how to make sure my torts are well cared for when it is time for me to go to college in a few years? The ideal situation, of course, would be to take them with me. However, the only school I've found which would allow torts is Caltech ("Pets in controlled habitats (e.g., aquariums, cages, terrariums) are allowed"), which has a pretty low acceptance rate (18%). Another idea would be to rent an apartment with a roommate, but most colleges require that freshmen stay in dorms for the first year and I don't want to have to spend a year, maybe more if I can't find an apartment, away from all my pets. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

: Sincerely,
: Christina

You might find someone via TurtleHomes that would foster them for the time you are in the dorms.
