Good point, wish I could comment on it but I only use it during the winter months when they are indoors, and then maybe 2 times a week. If anything I would suggest just throwing a cuttlebone in the vivarium, terrarium, or what ever RUM you want to call it (In fact I'll have a rum and coke..lol.) then see how fast they chew it to pieces. Dont forget to make it as easy as possible for them by cracking off the slick hard backing. I think I remember EJ saying that his were going though a cuttlebone every 3 days or so, about a year or so back. I'm not big on giving my tribe many things that arent as close to organic as possible.
