It is not legal to take CDT's from their natural areas.

Also, it is not recommended to keep them in the northeast...that is certainly the least optimal environment for them.

Aside from the legality situation, I would seriously recommend rehoming them before you leave for the tortoise's sake. My organization can help faciliate an adoption, just let us know.
