: Bric,
: Go to Home Depot or a similar place and check out the wall board stuff they have for bathrooms. For our iguana's winter cage a couple of years ago we bought stuff thats particle board on one side and a shiny white water repellant surface on the other. It wipes clean easily. Sorta like cheap formica. It's worked well. Zab

: : Hello all,
: : I need some info. on safe water sealants for wood (if any). I am building a huge indoor enclosure for my redfoot, almost winter:) Since I have a humidity system for him, I figured I may have some probs. w/ the wood. Have any of you built indoor enclosure for high humidity torts, not out of plexiglass. What type of wood did you use and what did you do to protect the wood. Does anyone use anything to protect thier wood outdoors? I realize I need to get untreated woods, but it seems the wood would need some protection from the elements.
: : So far, I am lining the bottom with tile, so I clean it easly during bedding changes. This leaves the walls plain wood.
: : Any Suggestions,
: : Bric
