You do remove the actual beans right? If not, too much of the beans can lead to problems. Now take this and see if you can get it to eat grasses and weeds and such or mix up the grocery greens more. If you only have the one tortoise, It wouldn't be too expensive to buy a bag of these prepared greens that they sell in 1 lb bags. They have a good mix. Look for the spring mix I think they call it. It has dandelion greens, ridicio and a bunch of other obscure greens that look good.
The point, mix it up as much as possible. (i'm glad it worked for you)
