Why give your "herps" the throw away food for free, when you can spend a few bucks to get them fresh stuff. I love my Sulcata, and want her to have the best diet possible. If I get her grocery store greens, I go with the organicly grown stuff. A big bushel of dandelion greens from "whole foods" only costs about $2.50, and keeps for a couple of weeks if you store it properly. Give it a try with the fresh stuff, instead of scraps, and your "herps" will appreciate it!
