: I have two russian torts in the same terranium and have been trying to come up with something they can both use as a hiding place. Right now I have constructed a newspaper shelter type thing and they seem to like that but I was wondering if anybody had any other ideas. I saw the shoebox idea but was wondering if there was any other suggestions. Thank you!

A tupper ware container with alfalfa around it would be good for hiding.Get a big enough one that they can both be in.
Wood logs tend to get wood mites and can spread to the turtle. Then they spread throuh out the tank.
here is my webpage on tortoiese. ihave a russian of my own.
