I received a baby sulcata for Christmas (unexpected). Have gotten lots of help from reading back messages and also from Marissa's Care Sheet (millions of thanks for that, Marissa). Now have more questions: 1. Do babies hate to be soaked? Mine goes nuts and then crawls in the hide box for hours! Also, I'm not seeing any milky fluids like I saw the first few times. I'm not sure it's peeing. (no problem with poop, however). 2. It is VERY selective about food--won't eat red leaf lettuce, mustard greens. Loves cacuts pads and endive--is it ok to let it bulk up on those? 3. Where can I find more info? I've spent hours in bookstores but most of the stuff is too general. 4. Are fir chips ok in its' cage? I tried alfalfa but the smell was a killer (I have allergies).
Hope this isn't too long but I've never had any kind of pet in my life because I'm allergic to most. I appreciate any help you can give me.
