Depending on the diet and how she's housed you may not need to soak her at all.
I never soak my Russians.
They're housed outdoors and do have water available, but never drink.
They get most of their moisture from their food.
If the tortoise is housed indoors and depending on the diet/temperatures etc, soaking once a week
might be a good idea.
Certainly soaking once a week for 10 minutes shouldn't do any harm.
But if environment/husbandry/diet are along the right lines then soaking might not be needed at all.
I would have clean drinking water available at all times though.
Can you tell us more about your set up and the diet the tort is on.
