: My female sulcata rammed me right on my ankle. Has anyone seen this type of behavior before?

Joe....don't know how big your "female" is but our 40+ lb sulcata male does a great job of ramming. We try real hard not to let him sneak up on us. Unprepared...it hurts like hell. Once he does it a couple of times, we guess establishing that he is boss, he usually stops. You should see him ram our soft tub spa. LOL It is three feet high, towers above him but daily he lets it know he can defend himself. Our other male, Buster, is half Tonka's size, has yet to ram anyone. Our two are kept separated, but Buster is the aggresser when they are allowed together. Being smaller than Tonka, when Buster rams him, his aim is lower and he ends up going under Tonka and flipping him. Watch your back side....LOL
