: Hello all,
: I have an adult male redfoot and want to get him a 'friend'. I have heard that adult males will fight and I do not want a female because of not wanting to breed. Let me know what experiences you guys have had.
: He may have to stay a loner.

I have young redfoots. One is about 9 months, the other 4 or 5 months. I've kept them seperated until today. I created a fairly large outdoor pen that they can use during the day. Today was the first day I put them together and the younger one appeared to be terrified of the older one. He (she?) was hissing and running away. I wonder if they will get acclimated, or should I resign myself to two outdoor pens. Any one have a similar experience? Any thoughts?
Thanks,
John
