I need some help. We adopted a 6 year tortise just a few days before it went into hibernation and I am
worried about it. It will draw up into its shell when I check it, or more around it light is shining on
it. Is it really in hibernation or am I slowly starving it to death? I
have been worried about this. It is in a box in a room without heat so it is between the 40's to 50
at night, and not much warmer during the day. What temperature do they need to go into hibernation?
are they supposed to move around. I worry that I will kill the poor thing. Help!!!!
