the heat, animal control and (more heat I suppose)...

This is the third day in a row Teddy's spent the 11-5 time napping
in my bathroom in his blue carrier (we may get him a bigger one,
gotta look in the pet shop later).
Chatted with Animal Control officer that was looking for a specific
dog, probably lost, mixed in with the group of strays that wander
around here, but they've moved off to another section. He said he
couldn't set traps for the dogs now, because of the heat.
We were talking about torts then, and he told me of a lady near
here that has a bunch of huge torts (so he says, I'm not sure
if they're sulcatas or leopards maybe - heck they might even
be something else - what do you think people consider "large".)
Next time I see him I'm gonna question him more about that, I'd
love to see some more torts. niki
