I am always concerned about this

I am praying that my child will inherit my love for turtles and be able to care for these lumbering giants when I go. I have a friend who has the goal of starting a sanctuary/ranch for unwanted pets, but I don't know if she will succeed in this.

Right now, this is a scarey issue that I lose sleep over, I hate to admit. I have just gotten a job that will allow me to provide for my baby when it comes, but I am not sure of how good my tortoise situation is for the future. I worry a lot about this, but my finances have taken a turn and providing a trust fund for the babytanks is no longer an option. Much concern over this, I feel. Right now, they are just happy to be with me and their grandparents in VA (I moved south for the remainder of my pregnancy) and enjoying the heat that everyone else shuns!
